Box and Whisker Plot

A box and whisker plot is a graphical representation of a distribution of values showing the mean, median, the upper and lower quartiles (called hinges), and the whiskers which extend beyond the hinges, together with outlier and extreme values, which enable the systematic comparison of two or more distributions.
